BANDAR LAMPUNG (publiclampung.com) - Thursday (22/08) The Higher Education Service Institute conducts a workshop on managing cooperation reports for universities in the area of ​​higher education service institutions in Region II in Swiss-Belhotel Lampung.

The workshop was attended by 87 State and Private Universities in Lampung and Bengkulu Provinces. This workshop provides information on the stages of cooperation, implementation of cooperation to reporting cooperation, which is seen from the technical point of view of implementation and from the legal aspect.

According to Prof. Dr. H. Slamet Widodo, M.M., M.S, head of the L2Dikti Region 2, this workshop aims to encourage universities in the region L2Dikti area 2 to continue to advance in the field of cooperation, both with foreign, domestic and other institutions.

The two-day event was held at the Grand Krakatau Swiss-Belhotel Lampung Ballroom with a capacity of up to 1500 pax. Peduli Sesama, Swiss-Belhotel Lampung rutin gelar Donor Darah

BANDAR LAMPUNG(publiklampung.com) – Swiss-Belhotel Lampung kembali menggelar kegiatan Donor Darah, Kamis, (15/08).

Kegiatan yang berlangsung di ruang Laluna Swiss-Belhotel Lampung bekerjasama dengan PMI Provinsi Lampung.

General Manager Swiss-belHotel Lampung, Fauzi Firdaus mengatakan kegiatan rutin donor darah ini selalu dilakukan oleh manajemen Swissbell-hotel Lampung setiap 3 bulan sekali.

“Kegiatan ini memang rutin kita lakukan setiap 3 bulan sekali sebagai bentuk kepedulian sosial. Melibatkan seluruh staf, karyawan bahkan tamu yang sedang menginap dan masyarakat sekitar ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini” ungkapnya.

Lebih lanjut Fauzi menyampaikan tujuan digelarnya donor darah Swiss-belHotel Lampung.

“Tujuan kegiatan ini tentu untuk dapat menjadi wadah bagi para pendonor dan PMI untuk mendapatkan stok darah. Tetapi bagi para tamu yg menginap, ini menjadi pengalaman yang tidak terlupakan," tambahnya.

Susilo, salah satu tamu yang menginap di Swiss-belHotel Lampung merasa senang ada kegiatan donor di hotel tempatnya menginap.

"Saya, awalnya kaget kok ada rame-rame di salah satu ruangan Hotel, ternyata ada kegiatan Donor Darah yang dilaksanakan oleh Swiss-belHotel Lampung. Maka saya ikut dalam kegiatan itu," Kata Susilo.

Staf PMI Lampung, Zultri mengatakan donor darah memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan, diantaranya adalah menurunkan resiko kanker, membakar kalori dan menghilangkan jerawat.

“Kami Setiap mengadakan donor darah di Swiss-BelHotel Lampung menargetkan 50-100 kantung darah yang terkumpul. Melalui kegiatan ini saya berharap dapat bermanfaat bagi yang mendonorkan maupun yang menerima darah tersebut, serta memperkuat rasa kepedulian kita terhadap sesama” Pungkas Zultri (*/adv)

On Eid al-Adha Eid 1440 (11/08) Swiss-Belhotel Lampung employees participated in giving sacrificial meat to residents around Swiss-Belhotel Lampung.

Dodi Irawan, chairman of the Swiss-Belhotel Lampung qurban committee, said that every year Swiss-Belhotel Lampung routinely carries out this activity.

"The Swiss-Belhotel Lampung qurban committee facilitates employees who want to learn qurban. This year there are 2 cows and 20 goats sacrificed," said Dodi irawan

The cutting and distribution of Qurban meat is also done jointly by Swiss-Belhotel Lampung employees.

"Our goal in carrying out this activity is one of the forms of gratitude for the abundance of sustenance from Allah SWT, besides that it is a means to strengthen solidarity with others," he added.

Uniquely the qurban meat which was distributed to approximately 300 residents did not use plastic like the distribution of qurban meat in general, but was packaged in baskets (a place made from woven bamboo red *).

It aims to reduce the volume of plastic waste which is very difficult to decompose by nature, in contrast to the baskets which are more easily biodegradable.

Using plastic is easier to use, but if you see the impact it has on nature it is certainly very dangerous. Plastic bags need more than 20 years to be decomposed. Whereas organic waste can decompose in less than one month.
